John Grant Jr to Play for Lakers Tonight?

John Grant Jr has had a busy last few weeks. He won the Major League Lacrosse Championship with the Chesapeake Bayhawks about three weeks ago, helped Canada win the Duel in Denver on Saturday, and now he is playing for the Peterborough Lakers in the Mann Cup.

The Lakers are down two games to none against the Langley Thunder with game three tonight. The Thunder won in overtime last night, but the bigger loss for the Lakers is more than the game.

Grant went down with a leg injury in the third period. It was tweeted last night by Tyler Wilson from Cogeco TV that Grant suffered a knee injury and went to the hospital right after the game.

Earlier this afternoon, Teddy Jenner from IL Indoor tweeted that there are several rumors surrounding the injury to Grant, and some say he might even play tonight in game three.

The Lakers sure hope so, if they want to get back into the series.
