Junior Lakers Acquire Holden Cattoni

The Peterborough Jr Lakers are pleased to announce the acquisition of 19 year old Holden Cattoni from the Okotoks Jr “A” Raiders of the Alberta Lacrosse Association.

Holden has two years of junior eligibility remaining.

In 2013 Holden led his team to the Minto Cup Tournament with 51 goals and 41 assists in 21 games.

Holden is currently a sophomore at John Hopkins University where he is taking undergrad courses towards acceptance into Medical School. He plays midfield for the John Hopkins Blue Jays where he is fourth in team scoring at 25 goals, 6 assists in 14 games. Hopkins meets Virginia this weekend in the first round on NCAA play-offs.

Holden will join the Jr Lakers once his exams are finished and his team is eliminated from, or wins, the NCAA tournament. He could be in the Peterborough line-up in week 3 of our league play depending on the success of the Blue Jays.

Jr Laker coach Tracey Kelusky has been following the development of Holden since he was 12 years old. Tracey says “Holden has been on our radar for several years. I know Holden and his parents very well and they are a great family. We look forward to having him play in Peterborough and we believe that he will be a very strong player in our league.”

Holden  is 6’ 0” , 190 lbs and shoots left.
