Justin Turri Traded to Denver Outlaws

According to the Charlotte Hounds’ twitter account, the team has traded Justin Turri to the Denver Outlaws. In return, they received a second round pick in the collegiate draft.

Turri was traded because he has a new job opportunity in San Francisco and Denver is a lot closer to play for him, also according to the team’s twitter.

In response to the trade, Turri tweeted, “Can’t thank @CharlotteMLL (Charlotte Hounds) enough. Loved being a part of the inaugural season of such a great franchise!”

Charlotte has made several deals this off season, acquiring Kevin Drew earlier this off season and trading away Billy Bitter. The Hounds 2012 season did not end as they may have hoped, but there is no doubt that the franchise has a bright future.
