CLax Names Weekly Three Stars

The Canadian Lacrosse League announced its Players of The Week earlier today. First, they named Wayne Van Evert of the Ohsweken Demons the offensive player of week one. He scored six goals along with two assists in the victory over their rival Iroquois Ironmen. Turf Dogs Defeat Shooting Stars In Debut

The Toronto Shooting Stars hosted the Durham Turfdogs in the first professional sport game at the Maple Leaf Gardens in thirteen years. The Canadian Lacrosse League Clax kicked off on Saturday with a championship rematch between the Iroquois Ironmen and the Oshweken Demons. Ironmen and Demons Announce Rosters

All seven teams have now released rosters for the 2013 Canadian Lacrosse League (CLax) season. The deadline for rosters to be submitted to the league was Tuesday at 11pm Eastern. At that time, five team rosters were made public: Barrie Blizzard, Brampton Inferno, Durham Turfdogs, Niagara Lock Monsters and Toronto Shooting Stars.
