Three players were suspended in the National Lacrosse League earlier today; Glen Bryan (Buffalo Bandits), Tim Henderson (Washington Stealth) and Chet Koneczny (Colorado Mammoth). All three have appealed and will be able to play this weekend. Bryan was suspended for cross checking the head of Minnesota’s Andrew Watt last Saturday night. None of us have done so great at game picks this week with upsets running rampant. Well, we keep trying, so without further ado, our game picks.

The Rochester Knighthawks announced tonight that they have signed goalie Angus Goodleaf to a one-year deal, pending league approval. In a related move, the Knighthawks released goalie Jake Henhawk. “It feels good. I have been waiting for this for a month,” said Goodleaf. The NLL coaches and media conference call yesterday had some interesting notes about the statuses of players and injuries from around the league. Knighthawks head coach Mike Hasen said that he will know more about Casey Powell tonight during practice and if he will play this weekend against the Buffalo Bandits. Week two of the NLL season has come to an end now that every team in the league has seen at least one game of action.
