Last week the fell in Calgary 19-15 while Washington picked up a 16-10 win in Philadelphia. Bandits Release Wiles, Active Smith and Brownell

As rumored for the past few days, the Bandits have released forward Luke Wiles and placed him on the team’s practice roster. They have also announced that Hayden Smith and Kevin Brownell have been placed on the active roster. NLL Expands to 18 Games

The National Lacrosse League has announced that as part of a comprehensive strategic plan, the league’s Board of Governors have voted to increase the length of the regular season from 16 to 18 games for the 2014 NLL season.The comprehensive strategic plan includes findings from a recent survey conducted of NLL fans throughout North America.Among the survey’s findings was a desire by the fans for additional regular season games.   …

Wings Acquire Rights to Mike Thompson

Former Buffalo Bandits goaltender Mike Thompson retired after last season, but the Philadelphia Wings still traded for his rights according to NLL.com.
