The Lock Monsters finished first in the regular season last year but fell in a tight game to the Iroquois Ironmen in the playoffs. On paper the Monsters have one of the best teams in the Canadian Lacrosse League. The Lock Monsters team revolves around Corey Fowler who was the league scoring leader in 2013 along with being the most outstanding player in 2013. Fowler had 80 points in 14 games last season and will look to replicate that success in 2014.

The Lock Monsters offense does not end there though as they also have Andrew Potter who finished second in league scoring just one point back of Fowler with 79 points. Few teams have the defense to deal with the Monster’s offensive punch. On the back end it all begins with goaltender Connor Danko who had a 7-1 record in the regular season last year and posted a 10.20 Goals Against Average along with a .809 save percentage. Danko for his 2013 performance won the goaltender of the year award in 2013. If the Monsters get in front in any game this season it will be hard for any team to come back as Danko will shut opposing teams out.

The Lock Monsters also have secondary scoring in the form of Dylan Llord,  and Brad Favero. The Lock Monsters will look to continue to terrorize the Canadian Lacrosse League in 2014.
