You’ve heard of LXM Pro, but probably don’t know a ton about it. You know some guys who were drafted by Major League Lacrosse are in it, but really, what is LXM Pro?
It’s a tour of professional lacrosse players. It’s just two teams that play each other. On Saturday they were in Salt Lake City, Utah and Team STX beat Team Sole, 16-14.
Who are some big names in the LXM Pro Tour?
Sam Bradman
The former Salisbury Seagulls star was the third round pick of the Long Island Lizards but chose to play in the tour. He is still a guy who could be in MLL, as he was protected by the Lizards last week.
Lewis Ratcliff
This box lacrosse star has been an MVP candidate in the NLL for years and led the Langley Thunder to a Western Lacrosse Association title this season, and he won an NLL Championship with the Washington Stealth. Ratcliff is a name box lacrosse fans will know very well. How does he fare as a box player? Pretty good with LXM Pro, but he is still the indoor lax star.
Sean Morris
Morris is a former NLL player with the Boston Blazers where he was a very productive player. Also in the media business with BostonLax.Net, Morris represents New England lacrosse.
Chris Ajemian
Ajemian is also a part of BostonLax.Net and he even writes here at In Lacrosse We Trust! Ajemian was a pro laxer with the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse.
Greg Peyser
Peyser is former player with the Long Island Lizards and now a member of LXM. He formerly played in the National Lacrosse League with the Orlando Titans. The former Johns Hopkins lax star also played with Philly and New Jersey in the MLL.
Zack Greer
A Canadian who plays with the Edmonton Rush in the NLL, Greer had played with the Lizards and was actually protected by them last week. Will Greer be back in MLL sometime soon? Long Island seems to think so.
Mikey Powell
One of the famous Powell brothers, some say that Mikey was the best field lacrosse player of them all. Casey just retired from MLL, could he join Mikey in LXM Pro? One way or another, lax fans get their Powell fix in the field lax world with Mikey Powell in the LXM Tour.
