McMichael Only Player Still Appealing; BDS, Morgan Out This Week

The ongoing saga of NLL players appealing suspensions seems to be somewhat ending. Every player who was suspended two weeks ago have withdrawn their appeals except for Washington Stealth transition rookie Mitch McMichael.

This week three players will miss action; Billy Dee Smith of the Buffalo Bandits and Chet Koneczny and Richard Morgan of the Colorado Mammoth. Smith and Morgan will just miss the games this weekend.

Meanwhile, Koneczny will miss the next three games for the Mammoth. His suspension was originally four games but they moved it to just three. This came from an obscene gesture to the crowd in their game in Buffalo.

Other players who withdrew suspensions are Justin Pychal from the Stealth and Michael Manley and Brandon Miller from the Philadelphia Wings. Both teams have this week off but return next week when those players will serve their suspensions. Rochester Knighthawk Jimmy Purves will also serve his suspension when Rochester is back in action.
