Favorite Lacrosse Memory: Winning the National Championship at Nassau Community College and my experiences with the Irish National Team; traveling the world and competing for Ireland.

Favorite Pro Players: A lot of my strengths have come from learning from some of the best players and coaches in lacrosse. I learned important traits like leadership and aggression from my friends Nicky Polanco and Brian Spallina. I learned strategy and the intricacy of the game from a great mind in Coach Matt Shinney. He also taught me how to challenge and improve my skill and mental toughness.

Biggest Strengths: People say that I am athletic, determined and coachable.

Toughest Goalie: Chris Sanderson was one of the greatest goalies and competitors to ever play the game. He past away from brain cancer in 2012 at only 38 years old.

Licht’s Thoughts

It’s been a long journey for me in lacrosse. From watching MILL games at the Spectrum in Philly to working hard emulating players like Tom Ryan and Randy Frazier. I spent a lot of time working on improving the skills to make it in the MLL and NLL traveling around Canada playing indoor.

I have learned so much from guys like Coach Richie Moran, Michael Kennedy, Brian Duncan and the Irish National Team coaching staff and trainer John Cavanagh. I have 30+ caps in international play.

I look forward to playing in the NALL and winning with the Kingfish. It will be good to finally play with (instead of against) Matt Smalley here in Rhode Island. 2013 looks to be an exciting time in the Bradford R. Boss Arena.
