In week six of Midwest Indoor Lacrosse League action, we saw some great matchups and great finishes. One game we have all been looking forward to for a long time has been the Pittsburgh Octane vs the Grand Rapids Dragonfish.
Grand Rapids remained undefeated and are now 4-0 after a 15-13 win over Pittsburgh.Pittsburgh drops to 3-2 and are in second place in the Mid States Division.
The Minnesota Jaxx picked up their first win of the season in Milwaukee with a 15-14 overtime win over the Milwaukee Marauders. Milwaukee drops to 1-3 and last place in the West Central Division.
The Detroit Coney Dogs fell to 0-6 with their 15-10 loss to the Columbus Lacrosse Club who moved to 3-2 to tie the Pittsburgh Octane in the standings.
The Cleveland Demons defeated Southern Ohio Box Lacrosse on Saturday, 26-6. On Sunday, Southern Ohio turned around to play Grand Rapids, where the Dragonfish moved to 5-0 with a 17-3 victory over Ohio.
