NXTsports to Host Philly Girls Showcase at Westtown School

The Philly Girls Showcase is headed back to a familiar destination.

NXTsports’ Showcase Lacrosse is pleased to announce that its prestigious Philly Girls Showcase will be held at the Westtown School in West Chester, Pa. Saturday, Nov. 1 for girls in graduation years 2016, 2017 and 2018. Registration for the Philly Girls Showcase is open at showcaselacrosse.com.

“We’re very excited to be back at the Westtown School, especially with the turnout that we’re expecting to the Philly Girls Showcase this year,” Director of Showcase Lacrosse Brett Manney said. “Several of our alumnae have mentioned to us how much the Showcase helped with their recruiting process and that help is something we hope to pass along to more and more new girls every year. Girls come from all over the country to be a part of this event.

More than 170 girls attended the 2013 Showcase, a number that figures to rise prominently this year. Those girls came from 13 states as far west as Washington and as far south as Georgia. The Showcase’s signature event is the Fab 40 All-Star Game, whose participants will be selected by a panel of legendary local high school coaches.

All players will play three games in the morning session and attend a skills clinic. All games at the Showcase are professionally filmed in broadcast-quality high definition from elevated cameras and a complete video package is available for all participants.
