As defending champions, fans will expect nothing less.   2.      Mercyhurst- The top two spots here are more like a tie for number one. Mercyhurst lost in the championship by only 1 goal, so to say they are high competitors would be an understatement. Le Moyne gets…

USLL Another USA Lacrosse League Possibility

The past two years have seen several attempts at upstart professional lacrosse leagues. With each league failing for various reasons, that doesn’t mean more attempts won’t be made, and it appears that another league will at least be attempted. The United States Lacrosse League might be the worst kept secret in lacrosse right now. The league has been working since May and the past few weeks have seen various leaks…

Is MLL in Florida a Good Thing?

Lacrosse in the sunshine state, sign me up! Major League Lacrosse should be moving to Florida for the 2014 season. The Hamilton Nationals would be moving to south Florida where an All-Star game was played. I believe this would be a good move for the MLL. When word first came out of the MLL moving to either Georgia or Florida I highly questioned the Georgia proposition, I do believe that…

Mike Sawyer vs. Steph Curry

This post is part of a series geared toward generating hype for the upcoming MLL season. Non-lacrosse and non-MLL fans can get to know the league’s stars better through these comparisons to NBA, NFL and NHL players. Some analogies are based on playing styles and others are based on off-field personality, but none are based on spending habits. We aren’t quite at the point where MLL players can drop $5,000…
