PT Lacrosse Club’s Annual Bingo Fundraiser

left

Early this year, the PT Lacrosse Club once again showed their dedication to making the world a much better place by supporting fledgling athletes at the Peters TWP High School Boys Lacrosse Team. The guys at the PT Lacrosse Club held its 11th Annual Bingo Night on February 28th where they raised thousands of dollars to support the needs of said boys club.

There are lots of sports clubs that answer their social call through fundraisers but most of them don’t garner a lot due to the fact that not every sports club in the world is popular enough to raise funds. So what they do is apart from inviting celebrities to spearhead fundraisers, they incorporate social gaming to these events like bingo. Without financial backing from big organizations or public office, some small sports clubs rely on games like charity bingo to help raise significant amounts of money for the groups that they support.

Bingo fundraisers

Bingo has always been a popular fundraiser for notable causes. GamCare, a registered aid organization, is a charity that promotes responsible gaming. That, along with many other aid groups, has continuously gathered huge amounts of money throughout the years in order to provide support to different causes. Coral Group, who own mobile-optimized gaming portal Gala Casino, even managed to raise 750,000 GBP (around 1.16 million USD) last year for the Macmillian Cancer Support because of the revenues they’ve earn from hosting games to people who love bingo.

PT Lacrosse Club was right in tying up with one of the most popular games in the world to raise bigger funds for these amazing charities. While the club doesn’t disclose how much they raised every year, the fact that they made it into an annual thing speaks volumes about how much support they get every year for hosting bingo events.

With a $30 price for each of the bingo packets, the revenues go a long way. Those who are into bingo and would like to aid charitable groups sponsored by their favorite lacrosse team are encouraged to support activities like this.
