Neither of these teams hoped that they’d be in this place at this point this season, but both the Rochester Knighthawks and the Colorado Mammoth are in last place in their respective divisions. Tomorrow, both will look to turn things around when they match-up at the Pepsi Center in Denver.
Colorado (2-5) is coming off a 14 to 12 loss to the Philadelphia Wings, the latest game in the team’s three game losing streak. Many of their issues have started in net, with Matt Roik not being able to answer the problem so far. After having a very strong regular season last year, being the team out of the playoffs is not what the Mammoth had in mind.
Rochester (3-5) seemed to finally have things starting to click when they won two games in a row, but that momentum seemed to disappear faster than they would have liked. Now they are back two games below .500 and at the bottom of the division.
The game kicks off at 9:00 pm eastern from Colorado and can be watched on the Lacrosse Network on Youtube.
