NLL: Rock Face off Against Knighthawks

Tonight the Toronto Rock (9-4) take on the Rochester Knighthawks (4-6). The Knighthawks have struggled this year and need a big win to move into a tie for second place in the east. While Toronto will look to strengthen their grip on first in the east with another win.

The Rock will look to spread the ball out against the Knighthawks and use all their offensive weapons in order to build a lead. The Rock will look for Garrett Billings and Colin Doyle to power the offense in order to force the Knighthawks to work from behind. In between the pipes Nick Rose should be up to the task to stop the Knighthawks offense as he leads the league in saves along with sitting fourth in the league in G.A.A. If the Rock can spread the Knighthawks defense they should be able to pick up an easy win.

The Knighthawks will have their work cut out for them tonight. The Knighthawks first and foremost need to shutdown the Rocks offense. The Knighthawks will need to find a way to stop Garrett Billings along with Colin Doyle. The Knighthawks need to play a physical game and cannot allow the rock to spread the floor and open up space. On offense Cody Jamieson will need to lead the Rochester offense and find a way to score on Nick Rose. Expect Cody Jamieson and Mike Accursi to have their work cut out for them but if they can break through a tough Rock defense they have the ability to score on Nick Rose and frustrate the Rock. This will be a tough game for the Knighthawks as they need their defense to be on the top of their game in order to stop a high flying Rock offense.

The Rock will prove to be too much for the Knighthawks in this game and will show why they are the top team in the east. The Rock have way too many offensive weapons for the Knighthawks to deal with which will enable the Rock to impose their will.
