The Vancouver Stealth are proud to announce the re signing of 27 year old goalie Tyler Richards. Richards will be expected to be the starting goaltender this season and the NLL veteran is expected to have another solid season. He has been a big part of the Stealth being in the champions cup final for 3 times in the past 4 seasons.
The Vancouver netminder is 24-25, in his NLL career with an 11.50 goals against and a .783 save percentage. In the playoffs, he’s 8-3, with a 10.60 GAA and a .797 save percentage.
Richards will no doubt be a key piece of the puzzle if the Stealth are to be back in the NLL Championship this upcoming season. The Coquitlam BC native has been with the Stealth his whole career and will enter his 6th season with a 3 year deal with good reason. He has been one of the top goalies in the National Lacrosse League for the past few seasons and has experienced post season play with success. T-Rich has an NLL championship to his credit with the Stealth in 2010.
