The Vancouver Stealth announced today that the team has signed free agents Travis Cornwall, Colton Clark, and Adam Shute.

Travis Cornwall is a familiar name to lower mainland lacrosse fans having spent his junior career with his hometown Coquitlam Junior Adanacs.  Cornwall was a member of the 2010 Minto Cup Champion team. During his five year Junior A career, he scored 102 goals, 147 assists, and 249 total points.  Cornwall played the past four seasons in the National Lacrosse League with the Calgary Roughnecks appearing in 43 regular season games and 9 post season games scoring 14 goals, 17 assists for 31 points.

Stealth President and General Manager Doug Locker commented on the added versatility Cornwall brings to the team,

“If there was ever a player who could fill a variety of roles it is Travis.  We are extremely excited to have him join the Stealth.  It’s great for another BC product to come back to Vancouver to represent his home team and we are looking for big things from him this coming season.”

Colton Clark was originally drafted in the first round (9th overall) by the Colorado Mammoth in the 2012 NLL Entry Draft.  He played two seasons in Colorado appearing in 18 games in 2013 and 2014.  In that time, Clark had 3 goals, 6 assists with 71 loose balls.  Prior to his time with the Mammoth, the Nanaimo native suited up for his hometown Timbermen in the BCJALL and played for Bellarmine University (NCAA Division 1).

Adam Shute is a goalie who comes to the Stealth after spending the 2015 season on the Rush practice roster.  Shute was originally drafted in the second round (13th overall) in the 2014 NLL Entry Draft by the Rush and is a graduate of New England College (Division III).

“In signing Colton and Adam we add two players who are ready to play in the NLL,” said Locker.  He continued, “Colton has had a terrific summer and is a player who can contribute in many ways for us.  He is dynamic, can score goals, play defense and has very good speed.  Likewise, we have been impressed with Adam all summer and feel he is ready to compete for a spot on our roster this season.”
