The Minnesota Swarm created their final roster on Thursday, and they placed their second overall draft pick Brock Sorensen on the Physically Unable to Perform List.
Sorensen is coming off of a torn ACL from his time with Ohio State and he did not participate in the Swarm scrimmages against Colorado or Rochester, and he will be missing the first part of the regular season for Minnesota.
Minnesota also released three players from training camp; Ryan Masters, Zach Higgins and Tyler Tanguay, but they placed all three on their practice roster. Both Higgins and Masters are goaltenders.
Minnesota placed Josh Gillam on the Hold Out List and they activated transition man Greg Downing, who missed time last season. Rory McDade and Riley Kemp were also released from the roster.
