Blizzard, Lock Monsters Open CLax Season

The Canadian Lacrosse League opens their 2014 season today as the Barrie Blizzard head to Niagara to face the Lock Monsters. Blizzard and Lock Monsters Bring in New Owners

Canadian Lacrosse League (CLax) Commissioner, Paul St. John and Deputy of the League, Jim Veltman along with Charlesway Corportion Limited (CCL), are pleased to announce they have reached a new partnership beginning in the 2013 season.  This new partnership will see CCL take control over management of the CLax teams located in Niagara and Barrie. Provincial outdoor ball hockey powerhouse Ball Hockey International (BHi) has signed on to be the major sponsor of each of these teams….

Stars Top Blizzard in Exhibition

With just under two weeks to go before the start of the 2013 Canadian Lacrosse League (CLax) season the Barrie Blizzard and Toronto Shooting Stars met in an exhibition matchup on Sunday, December 30th at Stephen Leacock Arena in Scarborough ON.
