Mike McNamara, Paul Dawson Suspended One Game

The only suspensions in the NLL from week two will go to New England Black Wolves defenseman Mike McNamara, who was suspended one game following the New England win over Rochester, and Knighthawks defenseman Paul Dawson. Brett Manney and Sid Smith had an altercation at the end of the game and McNamara left the Black Wolves bench to be a part of it, which is the reasoning for the suspension….

Starting with the Edmonton Rush, who released draft picks Mike DeGiorlamo and Mitch McAvoy along with defenseman Ben Snider. Knighthawks Announce Training Camp Roster

Derek Hopcroft was placed on the Rochester Knighthawks PUP list yesterday, and according to sources he has a season ending knee injury. Along with signing Brock Levick, the three time defending champions also made several other signings yesterday. Not too many surprises with the roster they announced this week. Eric Law to Miss Start of 2015

The Colorado Mammoth announced on Wednesday that forward Eric Law, who signed with the team in August, will miss at least the first month of the season recovering from surgery to repair an injured shoulder. Lakers Appeal After Forfeited Games Denied

After being forced to forfeit three games due to playing suspended player Scott Evans, the Peterborough Lakers appealed the decision. Yesterday, the Ontario Lacrosse Association denied the appeal and the Lakers are forced to take those three losses. Former Bandits Coach Darris Kilgour Arrested Again

According to the Buffalo News, Darris Kilgour, the former head coach of the NLL’s Buffalo Bandits, was arrested this month on charges of harassment and menacing. He was charged on June 7 for second-degree harassment, menacing and endangering a child. Kilgour had, according to the report, gone to his estranged wife’s home to drop off their son.
