The only suspensions in the NLL from week two will go to New England Black Wolves defenseman Mike McNamara, who was suspended one game following the New England win over Rochester, and Knighthawks defenseman Paul Dawson. The Colorado Mammoth announced on Wednesday that forward Eric Law, who signed with the team in August, will miss at least the first month of the season recovering from surgery to repair an injured shoulder. After being forced to forfeit three games due to playing suspended player Scott Evans, the Peterborough Lakers appealed the decision. According to the Buffalo News, Darris Kilgour, the former head coach of the NLL’s Buffalo Bandits, was arrested this month on charges of harassment and menacing.
