On Thursday, the Colorado Mammoth finalized and announced its 20-man roster for the 2015 season. Fourteen players return from last year, highlighted by forwards John Grant Jr. (captain) and Adam Jones, defensemen and assistant captains John Gallant and Dan Coates, and goaltender Dillon Ward. The Minnesota Swarm stayed a perfect 3-0 in the NLL pre season as they defeated the Colorado Mammoth 16-15 in an overtime shootout. The Swarm trailed 15-14 going into the late fourth quarter when Kiel Matisz tied it. A career that spanned 12 seasons came to an end on Monday, as Nick Carlson formally announced his retirement from the National Lacrosse League.
