The Minnesota Swarm got the most well known young player in Monday night’s Entry Draft: Miles Thompson. Roughnecks Extend Karsen Leung

The Calgary Roughnecks today announced the National Lacrosse League club has re-signed transition player Karsen Leung to a one-year contract, pending league approval. Leung, named to the 2014 NLL All-Rookie team, recorded 11 goals and 18 assists for 29 points (sixth among league rookies) while collecting 93 loose balls over 18 games in his NLL debut season. The Rochester Knighthawks made a splash before the NLL draft when they traded with Vancouer for the second overall pick in this year’s draft.  Rochester traded Johnny Powless and Joel McCready along with the ninth and 23rd selections in the draft.
