Meet a NALL Player: Andrew Kirkaldy

Name: Andrew Kirkaldy

Height: 6’4

Position: Forward

Team: Boston Rockhoppers

Pro Teams: Nanimo Timbermen, Jacksonville Bullies

Favorite Lacrosse Memory: Competing in the 2005 Minto cup with the Calgary Raiders.

Favorite Pro Player: My favorite player is Colin Doyle, he is also who I try to base my game off of. Not super fast, however, has a great stick, great two man game player, can find the net at will, and is just a great leader.

Toughest Goalie and Defender: Toughest goalie would have to be Tyler Richards from New West Salmon Bellies. Toughest defender would be Simon Stocks from the Timberman. Probably one of the smartest defense men I have ever played with or against.

Best Ability: Good outside shot, soft hands, and ability to get open off ball.

Kirkaldy’s Thoughts:
From Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. Played box my whole life. Was drafted by the Calgary Roughnecks 51st overall. Went to Gordon College and started all four years. Just excited for the ride and glad to be part of a great organization.
