NALL: Bombers Hit the Road Against Rockhoppers

The Boston Rockhoppers won their first game of the season in Kentucky but now they come back home where they will play the Baltimore Bombers. Baltimore will be playing NALL action for the first time in franchise history.

Last week Andrew Kirkaldy was the guy for Boston scoring five goals in the win. There is no reason to think they will not rely on him again. They will be getting back Mike Stone who missed last week’s game, so that will also help the offense.

Boston will also be getting back defender Malcolm Chase who played in LXM Pro last week. However, Baltimore will be losing two players in Shawn Naedelen and Dan Marhol who will both not be there.

Nick Schroeder allowed just nine goals to Kentucky last week and now he faces a Baltimore offense coming out a bit cold without their offensive leader in Marhol. For Baltimore, their goaltender is Ginny Cappichioni who had a win and a loss against Boston last season. It will be tough for her without Baltimore’s best defender and a great Boston offense, but she is one of the best goalies in the league.

Both teams have a lot of skill at all parts of the field. Dan Deckelbaum and Ben Rubeor will be leading the offensive charge against a Boston team whose defensive unit consists of Chase, Jon Hayes and Ethan Vedder.

Justin Otto is on the Bombers squad and he played for Boston last season, so that is a story line to watch. Both of these teams could be the two best in the league. Who will come out on top? Stay tuned throughout the night for updates around the teams.
