The National Lacrosse League announced this evening that they and the Professional Lacrosse Players Association have reached an agreement on their collective bargaining agreement for the 2013 season.
It is a one year collective bargaining agreement. The league and players association agreed to a seven year deal in 2008 with the final two years acting as an opt out for either party. On June 25th, the NLL opted out of the final two years.
Along with the 2013 season negotiations coming to an end, the league and players will continue to negotiate for the 2014 season as well, and beyond. The league says they are aiming to release their schedule in September.
