The NLL has announced three suspensions that stem from pre season action. All of the suspensions are for one game, however the Professional Lacrosse Players Association is appealing all three of them.
Jovan Miller, recently cut by the Colorado Mammoth, was suspended for his elbow to the head of Minnesota Swarm transition man Jordan MacIntosh in their early pre season scrimmage that left MacIntosh with a concussion.
Scott Johnson of the Toronto Rock gets a suspension for a cross check against Edmonton, while Jesse Fehr of the Edmonton Rush earns a suspension for an illegal check against Calgary.
Dane Dobbie of the Calgary Roughnecks will be missing the Riggers opening game from a suspension last season after the the PLPA withdrew their appeal to the league.
Miller and Fehr are not on an NLL team currently, so if their appeals are upheld then they will need to sit a game if they are signed by another club. Johnston was recently re-signed by Toronto after he had been assigned to the practice roster.
