Several Team USA Players Battling Injuries

The end of Major League Lacrosse season has arrived and players are banged up. The difference for some is they’re heading for team USA tryouts.Paul Rabil and Brendan Mundorf are arguably the two best players in Major League Lacrosse, and both have injuries. The Boston Cannons already told Rabil he needs surgery for his sports hernia, but he is planning on playing still. Mundorf will be having sports hernia surgery next month and he is also getting an MRI on a new knee injury.

Meanwhile, according to reports, top faceoff man Greg Gurenlian is dealing with a sprained wrist he has suffered since the all star break. He also played all season with a torn labrum in his shoulder. The next leading faceoff man Anthony Kelly also has a left elbow injury.

MLL rookie of the year Rob Pannell was battling a knew injury at the end of the season that might limit him with team USA. Feellow Lizard Max Seibald is coming off of a broken foot and pulled hamstring. Mike Simon, who missed the MLL championship game, is also battling a shoulder injury.
