The Calgary Roughnecks and Vancouver Stealth have announced the teams will face off for a preseason game at Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary on Sunday, Dec. 20 at 4 p.m. ET as part of the Roughnecks Holiday Party Showcase.

Tickets for the preseason contest will go on sale Monday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. MT. For only $10 (plus applicable fees), fans can purchase a reserved, lower bowl seat to Come for the Party & Stay for the Game at Ticketmaster locations and the Scotiabank Saddledome box office. Order online at Ticketmaster.ca or by calling 1-855-985-5000.

“This exhibition game will give our loyal fans an early glimpse of the 2016 roster,” said Roughnecks general manager Mike Board, ahead of the 20-player roster deadline of Dec. 18. “As we prepare for our 15th anniversary season, we will use this holiday event to thank our fans for their growing support and provide new fans with the chance to join the party and experience the incredible energy at the ’Dome during a Roughnecks game.”

The Roughnecks Holiday Party Showcase will open at 12 p.m. with Select-a-Seat, providing fans with the opportunity to choose from the best available seat locations for the 2016 NLL season. The event will also feature a complimentary photo session with Santa and the chance to enter to win prizes including a team-signed Roughnecks jersey.

In addition, fans attending the exhibition game, beginning at 2 p.m., are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for KISS 95.9’s Toy Angels in support of the Salvation Army’s Family Assistance Christmas Program. All toys collected through this initiative will be donated to deserving families over the holiday season.

The Roughnecks will begin preparations for the 2016 NLL season when training camp opens later this month on Friday, Nov. 27 with medicals and fitness evaluations at WinSport (Canada Olympic Park). The four-weekend camp concludes with the pre-season matchup against the Stealth on Sunday, Dec. 20.

“It’s great to have the opportunity to play our final preseason game against the Roughnecks as we make final preparations for the start of the 2016 season. It is also an opportunity for our players and coaches to spend some time together before heading into the upcoming year,” said Stealth President and General Manager Doug Locker.

The Stealth and Roughnecks will play a total of four times during the regular season, with both teams hosting a pair of games. The Stealth welcome the Roughnecks to the Langley Events Centre on February 20th and April 16th, while the two at the Scotiabank Saddledome are scheduled for January 30th and April 9th.

The Stealth begin training camp on Saturday, Nov. 28 at the LEC Fieldhouse. The team will host a total of two scrimmages, with the first coming on the night of the 28th against the Saskatchewan Rush at 6 p.m. PT. The Colorado Mammoth make the trip to Langley on December 6th for a 10 a.m. PT faceoff.
