Maryland Runs Past Syracuse, Win 16-8

In front of 5,283 at Syracuse’s Carrier Dome, the fifth-ranked Maryland Terrapins defeated the No. 2 Syracuse Orange 16-8 on Saturday afternoon. The Terrapins second quarter 10-goal charge led them to an impressive victory over the Orange. Freshman Midfielder Connor Cannizzaro and Attackman Jay Carlson led the Terrapins in scoring with four points each, on three goals and one assist. Syracuse Face off Struggles Downfall in Loss

Princeton Rallies to Defeat Hofstra

Pride sophomore Sam Llinares tallied three goals and two assists but 10th-ranked Princeton battled back from a four-goal deficit midway through the third quarter to post a 12-9 victory over Hofstra at Class of ’52 Stadium Saturday afternoon.
