The Rochester Knighthawks have announced a mega trade via their Facebook page. According to the team, they have acquired Dan Dawson, Paul Dawson and a 2016 first round pick from the Philadelphia Wings.

In return, the Knighthawks are sending Paul Rabil, Jordan Hall, Joel White, Robbie Campbell and a 2014 second round draft pick to the Wings in return.

Dan Dawson played for just one season with Philadelphia but had not yet been at training camp for the Wings. Rabil, meanwhile, has been holding out from playing in the NLL since he was traded from Washington.

He was not going to play in Rochester, and there were rumors of him ending up in Philadelphia for a while since that became clear.

Meanwhile, Hall is coming off of ACL surgery where he missed most of last season. Paul Dawson has been in Philly the past two seasons and should bring more depth to the back end for Rochester.

More details will be coming we are sure, but this trade is official so stay tuned for more reaction as we get it.
