When people talk college lacrosse it’s usually the big universities in division one, Denver, Maryland Notre Dame, etc.  But when Memorial Day weekend hits, there is plenty of action in divisions two and three.  Such was the case today in Philadelphia. Tar Heels Advance To Title Game; First Since 1993

In the opening game of the NCAA Final Four weekend, we had the U.N.C. Tar Heels defeat the Loyola Greyhounds 18-13.  This game was not as close as the score indicates. Bandits Dispose of BlackWolves 20-15, Advance to Finals

Last night the Buffalo Bandits (15-5) advanced to the Champions Cup after defeating the BlackWolves (11-10) 20-15 and winning the series 2-0.  This will be the Bandits first appearance since 2008, when they defeated the Portland LumberJax 14-13.
