Vince Talbot Blog: Final QSLL Blog

First of all I’d like to congratulate the Kahnawake Mohawks on winning the QSLL championship. They fought hard and deserved the win with an amazing performance from their goaltender Derek Collins in the last three games of the series. I can’t stress enough how hard this lost was for us as a team and for me as an individual. One of the reasons why I haven’t written a blog in…

Vincent Talbot Blog: One More Win

Two down, one more to go. This past weekend saw the beginning of the final series of the Quebec Senior Lacrosse League opposing the Kahnawake Mohawks to the Vermont Voyageurs. After one weekend, the Voyageurs are up 2-0 in this best of five series. This post will not be my longest as I don’t want to elaborate on a series that is far from over. The Mohawks are not an…

Our coach warned everyone that the swept…

Vincent Talbot Blog: Playoffs for the Voyageurs

It is playoff time for the Voyageurs! Last Tuesday was the first game of the best of three semi-final series against the Montreal Phoenix.  We knew this one was going to be difficult for a couple of reasons. Vincent Talbot Blog: Hot Weekend in QSLL

This past weekend was a hot one. I don’t think I’ve ever played a game in such a warm temperature in my whole lacrosse career. Somebody told me it was around 40 Celsius (104 Fahrenheit) Saturday when we started the game and it pretty much stayed as hot for the entire weekend. With a win on Saturday or Sunday we would have clinched first place in the QSLL. Unfortunately we…
