NALL: Kingfish Open Up in Kentucky
The Rhode Island Kingfish will be playing their first game in the NALL tomorrow when they face the 0-1 Kentucky Stickhorses in Louisville. Last week the Stickhorses suffered a 10-9 loss at the hands of the Boston Rockhoppers. This is their second straight home game and a chance for the team to find some chemistry together. Canadian Lacrosse League (CLax) Commissioner, Paul St. John and Deputy of the League, Jim Veltman along with Charlesway Corportion Limited (CCL), are pleased to announce they have reached a new partnership beginning in the 2013 season. This new partnership will see CCL take control over management of the CLax teams located in Niagara and Barrie. CLax: Stars Play First Game Against Turf Dogs
This weekend marks the opening of the 2013 Clax Season. One of the featured match ups of this weekend is the Durham TurfDogs facing off against the Toronto Shooting Stars. This game will be the first professional game played in Maple Leaf Gardens now known as the Mattamy Athletic Center in 12 years. Rod Jensen Suspended Six Months By CLA
After all of the stories about the positive tests in the Mann Cup, today we see a suspension announced. The Canadian Lacrosse Association has suspended Langley Thunder head coach Rod Jensen for his part in some incidents in the fall. MLL Game to be Played in Atlanta
According to Inside Lacrosse, Major League Lacrosse will experiment with a game in Atlanta in the upcoming 2013 season. They will play the game at Kennesaw State.
