The Six Nation Rebels took on the St. Catherine’s Spartans in some Junior B OLA action Friday night. The Rebels, who are looking for their fifth straight Founders Cup championship and eighth since 1997, were 2-0 going into Friday’s game. QSLL Announces 2014 Schedule

Today the Quebec Senior Lacrosse League announced their schedule for the 2014 season. The season is set to open on May 10th at 8pm with the Ottawa Axemen hosting the new Sherbrooke Xtreme. The two teams face off again the next day at 2pm as well, before the next week Sherbrooke travels to Kahnawake to play the Mohawks and Ottawa has a back to back with the Vermont Voyageurs.

Saints Trade Komer to Owen Sound for Masters

In Senior B lacrosse today the St. Catharines Saints and Owen Sound North Stars swapped their goaltenders. Going to Owen Sound is Scott Komer (Barrie Blizzard in CLax) and being shipped to the Saints is Ryan Masters (former Minnesota Swarm third string). The St. Catherines Saints were crowned 2013 Presidents’ Cup Champions Sunday after an 8-5 win over the host Kahnawake Mohawks.   Kahnawake jumped out to an early lead when Callum Crawford scored just 45 seconds into the game. The St. Catharines Saints (1-0) started off the 2013 Presidents Cup with a 15-6 win over the Calgary Mountaineers (0-2) on Monday morning.
